Hamburg teachers postpone vote
HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Hamburg teachers union planned to vote Thursday on a teacher evaluation agreement, but that vote has been moved to Friday.
The district is one of a handful of New York schools that have not submitted an evaluation plan to the state.
The superintendent says the district and union reached a tentative agreement last week.
About $450,000 in state aid is at stake.
The deadline for state approval is next week.
