Buffalo parole jumper may be on run with ex-teacher
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Authorities are looking for a Buffalo parole violator they believe ran away with a former teacher convicted of raping a student.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Candice Brighon of Coit Street has disappeared. She's on parole for burglary and weapons possession.
Deputies say she's likely with 34-year-old Cara Dickey, who went missing last week after removing an ankle monitoring bracelet. She served four years in prison for raping a 15-year-old student and is also violating her parole.
A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to Brighon's arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 867-6161.
