Man admits to intentionally driving car into fire station
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to intentionally driving his car into a fire station.

The Erie County District Attorney says 52-year-old Mark Detlef pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal mischief.

In August 2011, Detlef intentionally drove his car into Station Number One of the Main Transit Fire Department in Williamsville, causing damage to support structures for the building, glass bay doors, heavy rescue trucks and a pumper truck. Those damages cost more than $500,000 to repair.

He faces up to seven years in prison when he's sentenced in April.
