BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Police are investigating the city's first homicide of the new year.
Police say it happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday.
Detectives say a man was shot while in a vehicle near Kensington Avenue and Castle Place.
He was declared dead at the scene.
