Jamestown police officer under arrest following standoff
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown police officer has been arrested for obstructing governmental administration after a brief stand-off with town of Ellicott Police officers last week.
According to Ellicott Police, Michael Bush was found with a weapon in a Baker Street home last Thursday. Bush threatened to harm himself for hours before finally allowing police to give him medical attention.
He was arrested for failing to immediately come out to police.
Jamestown Police say Bush was not on-duty and he is now on administrative leave until the investigation is complete.
