Reward offered to find Grand Island park vandals
GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. — Crime Stoppers is offering a reward in a case of extreme vandalism that you saw first on YNN last week.
The vandalism happened the last weekend in December at Nike Base Park on Grand Island, and included graffiti, broken windows, and damaged vehicles.
Leaders say the graffiti was done with the town's own paint, and the center's bus was also vandalized.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to who was responsible. They're expected to be charged with felony criminal mischief.
Anyone with any information can call the Crime Stoppers tip line at (716) 867-6161.
