CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Student filmmakers at Cleveland Hill High School got the red carpet treatment Monday. The school hosted a viewing party for anti-bullying videos made by students.

The films were put together by teams of freshmen and their upperclassmen mentors. Teams began work on the short films in October.

Faculty members feel students are the right people to get the message across.

"They have seen bullying, they've experienced bullying, they're the ones that really understand it and can best educate one another on that," says Jennilee Schmitt, a teacher at Cleveland Hill High School.

The films will be aired during the school's morning announcements.
