Man charged with driving company vehicle to drug deal
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police have arrested and charged a man after they say he stole a company vehicle to buy drugs.
Police say 38-year-old Jeffrey Schlau of Lancaster took a box truck from Zito Movers on Transit Road without permission and drove it to Buffalo to buy crack cocaine.
Schlau told police he planned to return the truck, but ran out of gas.
He has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
