Hunter Kelly honored by Governor Cuomo
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The son of former Bills Quarterback Jim Kelly was honored on what would have been his 16th birthday.

Governor Cuomo declared Thursday "Hunter's Hope Foundation Day of Hope and Prayer for Children" in New York State.

The resolution helps the foundation move toward achieving one of its goals: a national day of hope and prayer for all children.

Hunter suffered from Krabbe disease. He died in 2005 at the age of 8.

The Hunter's Hope Foundation will host a day of hope and prayer event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bills Healthy Zone Fieldhouse.
