Woman hit by car, killed
OLEAN, N.Y. -- A woman died last night after she was hit by a car in Cattaraugus County.
Police say Leisa Lentz, 53, was found lying on the ground near South Union and Irving Street in Olean.
She was taken to Olean General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say Lentz was hit by a car driven by Paul Wood, 79.
He was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and was released.
