Buffalo grain elevators to get facelift
BUFFALO -- Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation leaders approved a plan Tuesday to give Buffalo's grain elevators and bridges a facelift.
The group approved a master plan to project light and light shows on a variety of locations in Buffalo including the Skyway, Michigan Street Bridge and grain elevator silos along the waterfront.
The agency tested light shows in October 2012 by Ambiances Design Productions. The company has created similar displays in other major cities like Montreal, which drew up to 300 thousand people.
