BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Dozens of people looking for a deal were at a former nightclub in the Chippewa Entertainment District in downtown Buffalo Wednesday.
Hundreds of items were on the auction block at the former Social Nightclub. The items ranged from bar products, lighting and audio equipment, and more.
Auctiongoers said there were many great deals, but because you can't try the equipment before its purchased, buyer beware.
According to auctioneer Cash Cunningham one of the highest valued items on the auction block was an electronic point of sale system.
"It was really a bargain for somebody at $2,500. That's a system that they probably paid 10 to 15 times that much when they put it in 3 years ago," said Cunningham.
The State Liquor Authority revoked the nightclub's liquor license after incidents of underage drinking, commingling and violence at the establishment.
