BUFFALO, N.Y. — A world-record holder for memory retention will give away his secrets to raise money for a good cause.

Dave Farrow is holding a fundraiser next month for Make-A-Wish Western New York. He's considered a leading expert on speed learning and memory training.

Make-A-Wish officials say they're grateful for Farrow donating his time towards the organization.

"We do not get any state or federal funding for Make-A-Wish so we can only keep our doors open and keep granting wishes thanks to community support," said Mary Moore-Hazel, Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The fundraiser is on March 9 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Medaille College. All proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
