CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. ---- An animal cruelty case in Cattaraugus County that left two horses out in the cold, has a happy ending.

Fancy is a palomino that has lost most of her eyesight and Molly is an Appaloosa that stays by her side and helps her find her way.

An Cattaraugus County SPCA representative says that both horses have been in foster care for almost a year after being rescued from deplorable conditions.

They have been looking for a permanent home since they won the court battle last month and now a woman from Pennsylvania has stepped up and is in the process of adopting both horses.

"She has two stalls available in her barn," said Kris McDonald of the Cattaraugus County SPCA. "And she just felt that they would be just such a great fit in her home. And she just wanted to give them a forever home instead of having them go to a sanctuary."

Anyone interested in helping should contact the Cattaraugus County SPCA.
