Fire damages apartment building

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Just a short time after
fighting the fire on Timon Street, some of the same firefighters had to rush to another apartment building fire.
The fire started around 3 a.m. Friday on Forest Avenue, in the apartments behind the old Royal Pheasant restaurant.
Firefighters evacuated the building. The Red Cross is helping the displaced residents.
No injuries were reported, and there is no word yet on a cause.
The damage is estimated at more than $100,000.
