NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A fugitive on the run since disappearing from his Niagara County jury trial last month has been captured by US Marshals in Arizona.

Several law enforcement agencies made the announcement at a press conference Saturday morning.

Paul Turley was in court January 23rd to face multiple sex charges.

He disappeared during a lunch break and didn't return.

He wasn't convicted until five days later.

Turley and his wife Diane were found Friday outside his Tucson, Arizona mobile home.

They were both arraigned in Arizona Friday.

"For the family of the victims and the victims themselves, there will be some closure because they will be able to sit in court and view this defendant as he faces his sentence," said Niagara County District Attorney Michael Violante.

Turley and his wife are expected to be returned to Niagara County where he will be sentenced on April 19th.
