WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres may be rolling gutter balls thus far this season, but current and former players bowled all strikes Sunday to help out a worthy cause.
The team's second annual bowl-a-rama took place at Transit Lanes.
The event event paired players with Sabres players, alumni and broadcasters.
Those who took part said the event is a good way to get face-to-face with the community.
"It's just good to be out and interact with fans," forward Marcus Foligno said. "It's something we do in the community, and we have a lot of fun here."
Proceeds go to the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
